Description SCHEDULE: Full-time: 4 days per week; 36 hours per week; 7:30 am - 5:30 pm The Pod CMA/LPN/RN Clinic Nurse is of prime importance in helping the medical provider respond successfully to the increasing demands for his/her services and will practice within the scope of licensure. He/she is the essential link between the medical provider and his/her patients, professional associates, and equipment and medical suppliers. She/he delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The Pod Clinic Nurse assists in the patient teaching activities and maintains the standards of a professional nurse. He/she performs various laboratory and radiologic procedures and is responsible for the documentation of these. Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing program possessing a current Iowa Nursing license or graduate of medical assistant training - possessing certification. Must either be certified in CPR or obtain certification during the first three months of employment. No clinical experience as a prerequisite other than during the formal education process.
