POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in the development, implementation, evaluation and coordination of all aspects of point-of-care testing performed by non-lab staff, and regulatory compliance in the Clinicallaboratories. Maintains, monitors and supports the achievement of effective quality programs to guarantee a safe and efficacious quality laboratory testing utilizing good laboratory practices and good manufacturing practices.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in medical technology or an appropriate biological medical science is required. Requires 2 years of clinical lab experience.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT).
