Tetrad Digital Integrity (TDI) is a leading-edge cybersecurity firm with a mission to safeguard and protect our customers from increasing threats and vulnerabilities in this digital age.This position involves developing and modifying enterprise-level security policies and publications to provide support for the Office of Cyber Security. Candidates must have strong writing and editing skills, be detail-oriented yet adaptable, and be able to listen and incorporate feedback provided by stakeholders. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work with any level (including C-level) of the organization are also required.This position could be supported from Manassas, VA or Washington, DC but requires 2 days in the office and 3 remote, with travel to DC when asked.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work collaboratively with House personnel by providing quality technical writing support (e.g., prepare and review documentation, communications, briefing decks) for internal and external stakeholders, as required.
  • Following approved organizational templates and style guides, perform a review and analysis of existing security policies; identify policy gaps and propose draft policy, focusing on modernizing any existing security policies that may need an update based on the advancement of current technology.
  • Analyze and develop new security policies based on best practices to address areas or technologies as defined by the House.
  • Work with cybersecurity personnel to define policy guidelines and ensure written policies are integrated into existing systems, where applicable.
  • Ensure consistency in guidance and terminology across all policies, with high attention to detail to ensure a quality product.
  • Support ad hoc cybersecurity communications to include House-wide messaging targeting Members, Committees, and Leadership offices.
  • Manage and communicate timelines for deliverables and ensure quality for all documentation which may include new reports, responses to data calls, research papers, and other records as directed by Cybersecurity leadership.
  • Support Congressional transition activities, as directed.
  • Frequently on-site in DC for client interaction and to support client's events (Pop-up Events).
  • QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in cybersecurity policy development.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing and writing security policies at an enterprise level within a federal agency or comparable IT environment.
  • Strong policy analysis and professional writing ability, including editing and proofreading.
  • Proficient knowledge of various security guidelines, including NIST, ISO, etc.
  • Demonstrated understanding of a broad range of security best practices and current technology trends.
  • Experience assessing and enhancing system security policies and procedures in response to the regulatory requirements associated with Federal and International standards.
  • Skilled with both active and reflective listening.
  • Ability to grasp complex functional policy concepts and translate them into structured text that is easy to understand.
  • Proficient in the MS Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
