POSITION OVERVIEW dormakaba is seeking a 1st shift (6AM - 2:30PM) Polisher based in our Reamstown, PA manufacturing facility. The Polisher is responsible for the final finish on stainless steel, bronze and aluminum fabricated parts complying with all safety, quality, EHS and production expectations. HOURLY HIRING RANGE:
$20 - $25/hr plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). $2,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview) WHAT YOU WILL DO - Install or replace polishing belts and discs
- Polish product and teach polishing techniques to other team members
- Use different polishing methods and machinery to obtain specified finishes
- Apply lacquer or statuary finished as needed
- Perform various duties in plant; move and handle heavy items; require manual dexterity to operate factory equipment
WHAT WE REQUIRE - High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals
- Experience with various hand tools (manual and powered)
- Demonstrated mechanical abilities
