PolicyWorks is a subsidiary of the Iowa Credit Union League (ICUL) and we are seeking a full-time Political Action and Grassroots Coordinator to join our team! This individual will support the ICUL's government affairs efforts by coordinating grassroots advocacy programs, expanding advocacy engagement among credit union staff and members, and growing fundraising for the Credit Union Political Action Committee (CUPAC). If you bring good energy, are driven by connecting with people and want to make a difference with advocacy, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing

• Oversee grassroots engagement of credit union staff and members, and work with our lobby team on calls-to-action.
• Execute CUPAC fundraising, develop new ideas, and engage credit unions to position CUPAC as a top 5 PAC in Iowa.
• Provide advocacy trainings to credit union staff and assist with various ICUL advocacy events.
• Grow positive relationships with ICUL staff and Iowa credit unions across the state and attending trainings.
• Be a resource for credit unions and respond advocacy questions.

Who You Are

• Graduate with bachelor's or associate degree.
• Prior experience with grassroots advocacy, political campaigns or fundraising preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including public speaking.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing time and priorities.
• Experience with CRM database systems and technologies preferred but not required.
• Passionate about advocacy, political fundraising, and grassroots mobilization.
