Qualifications Desired: Should enjoy serving individuals. Must be courteous, professional, and outgoing. Should have a good knowledge of customer service. Must be organized and capable of handling multiple tasks at one time. Must maintain composure during busy periods. Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
Role Description: To enhance quality service at the pool and tennis facilities. Responsible for the execution and completion of duty assignments. Maintain professional and business profile while acting as a SACC representative. High visibility during hours of operation. Close communication between membership, peers, supervisor, and manager. Interaction with the membership is necessary to maintain the high-quality standards of the San Antonio Country Club.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for punctuality when reporting to work and clocking in only after being in full uniform.
- Responsible for personal hygiene, grooming, clean uniform, and professional appearance.
- Seek out the supervisor, letting them know that you are present.
- Check with supervisor/manager for opening duties, if applicable, and check the duty section assigned.
- Check the menus/specials (and recipe composition).
- Provide the best service possible to all members/guests.
- Follow all policies/procedures.
- Coordinate with the supervisor/manager regarding breakdown (i.e., closing), clearing, and cleaning the areas.
- Responsible for checking assignments (i.e., banquet functions), correctness, and exacting accomplishment of duties.
- To perform all other duties as directed by supervisor or Club manager.
- Must be able to work holidays and extended hours if needed
- Required to work in other departments as required (large functions and holidays)
