Pool Title POOL - Marketing & Public Relations Social Media Assistant - Federal Work Study Pool Number S86-23 Announcement Summary

The pool is continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates.
We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings.
The Marketing & Public Relations Social Media Assistant will be primarily concerned with providing social media coverage of FTCC's Corporate & Continuing Education programs for use on Facebook and Instagram under the direction and supervision of the Executive Director of Marketing and Public Relations in coordination with the Associate Vice President for Corporate and Continuing Education.
Duties
* Work with supervisor and personnel from MPR and CCE to brainstorm, coordinate and/or execute ideas for social media posts about CCE programs.
* Build and maintain a social media calendar based on key CCE dates and events.
* Research hashtags for tagging content; tag content to maximize reach and sharing.
* Compile analytical data, create regular data reports and note trends and findings.
Minimum Qualifications
* Have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file for current award year.
* Have a financial need.
* Not be in default on a federal loan.
* Have not reached Lifetime Pell Eligibility limit.
* Have an eligible Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status
* Be in a program eligible for financial aid.
* Have at least a cumulative 2.0 financial aid GPA.
* Be currently enrollment in at least six (6) credit hours or more in an approved program.
* Prior experience in using Facebook and Instagram
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Attention to detail
* Self-motivated, creative, enthusiastic, efficient
* Positive attitude about FTCC
Preferred Qualifications
* Ability to think and work under tight deadlines
* Experience in journalism, photography, videography, graphic design and/or web design is a plus
