About Us:Our mission as a swimming pool cleaning services company is to develop a highly successful, profitable all round swimming pool cleaning services business which provides quality services and Retail store in our community and to become a standard for an ideal swimming pool cleaning services business. Position Overview:The Pool Renovations Foreman is responsible for overseeing the quality of the pool renovation, as well as providing exceptional customer service. This role requires knowledge of all phases of pool renovation, including all phases of the renovation process. The Foreman must effectively manage and instruct crews and subcontractors to achieve the desired outcomes, ensuring that all work meets high product quality standards.
  • Work with renovation crew on concrete pools to diagnose, demo, and repair both structural and cosmetic problems.
  • Assist with building new pools, concrete, & vinyl liner.
  • May be responsible for diagnosing, repair, and replacing swimming pool equipment during renovations.
Requirements:
  • Valid/Clean Drivers License
  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Ability to work 40+ hours per week
  • Ability or lift, move and handle materials and equipment weighing more than 94 pounds (example 1 bag of Portland cement)
  • Frequent exposure to loud/noisy environment
  • Ability to work outdoors year-round in a variety of weather conditions, without protection from the elements
  • Knowledge of mortar, concrete & basic construction techniques.
  • Knowledge of hand tools, various power tools & equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Understanding of the capability and proper utilization of machinery and equipment used in construction
  • Ability to identify problems and implement solutions with minimal downtime
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
  • Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to construction sites
  • Ensures understanding of all company safety policies and procedures
  • Able to adjust for conditions, make changes from original job order, troubleshoot situations, innovate process on the spot in order to complete the job to meet company standards and timetables
