DescriptionThis is a summer 2025 positionOverall Responsibilities of the Pool Supervisor:
- Responsible for organizing, planning, managing, supervising and maintaining all Pool related functions, operations and staff.
- Responsible for ensuring the swimming pool is clean, hygienic and safe for use.
- Meets or exceeds Member service expectations.
- Ensures that team members work well together
- Able to project a professional manner at all times and is able to stay calm in difficult situations.
- Adheres to Hart Ranch Camping Resort Employee Handbook and Employee Safety Manual.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
The Pool Supervisor will:
- Provide input to budgets, including the determination as to number of staff and relevant other material resources.
- Prepare sampling plan and collects samples in accordance with established procedures.
- Conduct evaluations at facility to determine compliance with environmental health laws and regulations in accordance with established procedures.
- Upon the discovery of noncompliance conditions, initiates appropriate action to resolve the condition in an expeditious manner
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and ensure equipment is calibrated as necessary.
- Ensure the pool area is maintained; including vacuuming, washing decks and flushing gutters.
- Ensure safety precautions are followed in pool area and identifies possible safety hazards.
- Oversee the pool side activities and supervise the behavior and conduct of the visitors and staff members.
- Work within the pool system's closure policy for inclement weather and unsanitary conditions
Team MembersThe Pool Supervisor will:
- Review job applications, interview candidates, and hire and train them.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Appraise employee performance; reward and discipline employees; address employee complaints and resolve problems.
- Establish standards and procedures for work of Pool staff.

Minimum of high school education. Motivated self-starter. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays & special events as needed.
