POSITION SUMMARY:

$250 paid after 30 days of employment, $250 paid after 60 days, and $500 after 90 days!

We seek a reliable and experienced Pool Technician to join our team in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. The ideal applicant will be responsible for maintaining and servicing pools and spas to ensure they are in optimal condition for our clients. You will be tasked with inspecting pool equipment, testing and adjusting chemical levels, and performing regular maintenance on pumps, filters, and other equipment.

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of pool equipment and chemicals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about the pool industry and wanting to join a growing team. The candidate must have a CPO certification or be willing to obtain one (we will pay for this).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform Routine Pool and Spa Maintenance: Conduct regular pool and spa cleaning and maintenance, including skimming debris, brushing pool walls, and vacuuming.
  • Water Quality Testing: Test water chemistry levels (pH, chlorine, alkalinity) and adjust chemical levels to ensure water is balanced and safe for swimming.
  • Filter and Pump Maintenance: Inspect, clean, and maintain pool filters, pumps, and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Chemical Handling: Safely store and handle pool chemicals such as chlorine, acids, and other water treatment products, adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Repair and Troubleshooting: Identify and fix minor mechanical and plumbing issues, such as leaks or malfunctioning pumps, filters, or heaters.
  • Inspect Pool Safety Equipment: Regularly check pool covers, ladders, diving boards, and other equipment for proper function and safety compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in pool maintenance, cleaning, and repair, typically 1-2 years, is preferred.
  • CPO certification is required; we are willing to pay for certification for the right applicant.
  • Familiarity with pool systems, pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical dosing equipment.
  • Understanding of water chemistry, including testing and balancing pH, chlorine, alkalinity, and other chemical levels.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair minor mechanical or plumbing issues related to pool equipment.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy equipment, standing for long periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate chemical dosing, equipment inspection, and repairs.
  • Knowledge of safe chemical handling procedures and a commitment to safety guidelines.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to different pool locations.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly: $18 - $23

Bonus: We are excited to offer a $1,000 Sign-on bonus! $250 paid after 30 days of employment, $250 paid after 60 days, and $500 after 90 days!
