The Mission Management & Autonomy program area is looking for an experienced, self-motivated Portfolio Chief Engineer (PCE) to support a collaborative approach to the design and implementation of Data and Analytics Systems, Resilient Ground Solutions, Mission Management and Autonomy, Precision Engagement, and Test & Support Solutions. The PCE works on behalf of the Product Line Technology Director and is a partner to the Portfolio Engineering Lead and Program Area Director for a program area of the product line, carrying the Mission Systems Technology Director s technology roadmap vision into the Program Areas. The PCE focuses on working directly with customers, end users and development engineers to conceptualize, architect and present solutions that solve the toughest mission needs.
We are seeking candidates with real-world experience in the following fields: large scale information and analytics solutions, collection management and tasking, processing, mission planning and autonomy, precision engagement, and test & support equipment. The PCE plays a key role as the interface between the end users and the development team to ensure that the delivered product meets or exceeds the users needs. The PCE is a partner with the program area leadership and is a key contributor for new business opportunities aligned to the program area growth strategy. Experience capturing new business, working with customers, supporting proposals enables the PCE to assist in carrying out the program area new business vision.
In this role the PCE will:
+ Support generation of the Product Line Technology Director Technology Roadmap and Technology Strategy
+ Work with the Portfolio Engineer Lead, Program Area, Technical SMEs, and Business Leaders to generate the Program Area Portfolio Technology Roadmap
+ Define, Lead, and at times work on IRaDs relevant to the Program Area
+ Perform technical opportunity analysis and design, perform trade studies, and provide initial solution analysis supporting new opportunities.
+ Utilize new business capture, solution design, and development experience to engage with government stakeholders, system architects, and developers to provide program area solutions.
+ Support programs as a Chief Engineer/Chief Architect as needed to support Program Area technology needs.
+ Ensure Architecture Review Boards are completed for Program Area opportunities.
+ Ensure the leverage technology product roadmap strategy is implemented for programs in the portfolio.
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor s Degree or Master s Degree in Engineering related discipline with 15 years of experience after the date for the completion of your Bachelor s degree, or 13 years of experience after the date for the completion of your Master s Degree
+ Must hold an active Top Secret clearance
+ 15 years in solution design and development
+ Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills which facilitate working with others in a team environment
+ Strong leadership skills and the ability to interface with senior internal personnel on significant community matters, often requiring coordination between organizations
+ Demonstrated strong technical writing skills
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Hold an active Top Secret/SCI clearance
+ Experience developing proposals, ECPs, and whitepapers focused on new business.
+ Experience with customer/stakeholder communication, management, relationship building, and customer satisfaction
+ Experience with Model Based System Engineering or other mature System/Software design processes
+ Ability to coordinate, schedule and lead user engagement activities across multiple DoD and IC organizations with minimal oversight and direction
+ Exceptional verbal, writing and listening skills: Ability to communicate complex technical solutions across the development and customer environments
+ Self-motivator
+ Willing to travel (25%)
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $147300 - $250400

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
