Purpose: The PBIS assists participants who have significant behavioral difficulties that jeopardize their ability to remain in the community of choice due to inappropriate responses to events in their environment.

Essential Functions:

+ Provide PBIS to participants while adhering to NHTD and TBI program manuals.

+ Ensure proper review and submission of all required documentation for billing.

+ Attend all agency and participant meetings as required.

+ Advocate with, or on behalf of consumers as needed, to ensure equal access to community resources, and compliance with ADA.

+ Develop behavioral support plans.

+ Provide behavioral support training, including self-management skills, to program participants and their circle of support.

Education and Experience:

+ Bachelors Degree in psychology or;

+ Bachelors Degree Applied Behavior Analysis or;

+ Bachelors and a Certified Dementia Practitioner or;

+ Bachelors and a CARES Dementia Specialist or;

+ Registered Professional Nurse or;

+ Licensed Occupational Therapist or;

+ Licensed Physical Therapist or;

+ Certified Behavior Analyst Assistant or;

+ Individual with a Bachelors degree and Certified TBI Specialist or;

+ A Certified Rehabilitation Counselor

AND

+ Must have two years of experience developing and implementing intensive behavioral treatment plans.
