**Description**
We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and creative Post-Doctoral Fellow to join our **Bioanalysis and Metabolism** group in **Clinical Study Excellence** team located in Fulton, MO. This position is part of the global Boehringer Ingelheim Post-Doctoral Program.
Join our team as a Post-Doctoral Fellow and lead an innovative project focused on bioanalysis and metabolism studies for pharmaceutical development. Your work will involve developing and applying bioanalytical assays to uncover the pharmacokinetic (PK), toxicokinetic (TK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) profiles of pharmaceuticals, supporting the discovery and development of novel treatments for various animal health diseases.
We are looking for candidates with strong skills in analytical and bioanalytical chemistry, and experience in multidisciplinary research approaches. As a Post-Doctoral Fellow, you will be expected to independently conduct research in bioanalysis and publish your findings in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Lead a research project with guidance from experienced mentors with extensive backgrounds in academia and industry.
+ Contribute to the creation, organization, and execution of a research project.
+ Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary project teams.
+ Publish research findings in peer-reviewed scientific journals and present data at scientific conferences.
+ Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, performing all work safely and maintaining proper records in accordance with SOPs and policies.
**Requirements**
+ PhD degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field, with a strong publication record.
+ Ability to work independently, designing and executing experimental strategies to advance projects.
+ Proven creativity and innovative approaches to solving scientific problems.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills
**Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities**
+ Proven creativity and initiative in conducting cutting-edge research.
+ Knowledge and hands-on experience with HPLC and LCMS are advantageous.
+ Strong understanding of the relevant scientific field, with the ability to ask critical scientific questions, formulate new hypotheses, and critically evaluate existing ones.
