Finish is a Post-Production House based in New York City. Our services extend from editing through VFX through sound and color finishing. We work with a best-in-class staff of in-house editors, colorists, and project managers, as well as a global network of animators, designers, and other specialty studios to be an end-to-end solution for brands' post endeavors.SERVICES OFFERED:

Finish: Edit Intern, Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide AE Support
- Prep Projects, Transcode Footage, and Upload Dailies
- Versioning/QCing
- Assist with requested quality checks of edit rounds, versioning, and final conforms. Allows for experience with finishing.
- Sourcing
- Assist the creative team and Post Coordinator in downloads/uploads, to better understand how a video pitch is made.
- FINISH Socials
- Working off of our Finish archival systems, prep creative assets for our social creative director. Have hands-on experience with creative and curating.
- Hard Drive & Equipment Coordination
- FINISH works with multiple freelancers throughout the duration of a project.
- Assist the post coordinator in managing, scheduling, and keeping tabs on the hard drives sent to each person as well as equipment orders from vendors.
- Frame.io Management
- FINISH uses Frame.io to connect the post, creative, and client teams. We upload everything from rough drafts to color prep here to share out.
- Assist in the creation and folder maintenance of a project and administrative duties.
- Hard Drive Inventory
- Assist our Post Supervisor and Post Coordinator with backlog and hard drive inventory in the office.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be enrolled in a University or Master's program.
- Must be available for a minimum of 12 hours per week, and a maximum of 16 hours per week.
- Must be available between January 22nd and May 15th. Internships begin January 22nd, 2025.
COMPENSATION:This internship is unpaid.
