Jiang lab utilizes structural biology, electrophysiology, proteomics, and cell biology imaging tools to study the structure and function of membrane ion channels and transporters. What You Bring:- PhD in biochemistry, biophysics, molecular biology, cell biology, or a related field is required.
- Relevant research experiences and skills include but are not limited to protein expression and purification, membrane protein biochemistry and reconstitution, proteomics, structural biology (single particle cryo-EM, cryo-electron tomography, or x-ray crystallography), cell biology imaging techniques, and chemical biology.
- Ability to work optimally with a wide variety of people from all backgrounds and at all levels of training.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of integrity and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Positive demeanor with a problem-solving, resilient approach to research.
