Overview:
This collaborative position in the Long Lab within translational immunology at the Benaroya Research Institute provides a unique opportunity to explore the role of clonal expansion and autoreactive T cell features in early T1D disease using TrialNet samples. Overall, the Long Lab focuses on better understanding underlying mechanisms of autoimmune disease, patient variability, and response to therapy using human samples.
Responsibilities:The postdoctoral scientist leads independent cellular and molecular research relevant to single cell islet specific T cell multi-modal data comparing cells isolated from early T1D individuals (stage 1) with stable versus advancing antibody profiles.

Starting annual salary $67,744 - $77,488 (depending on years of postdoctoral experience)
