Job Title: Postdoctoral Scholar Research
Hiring Salary/Salary Range: $52,500 - $66,492 annual
An NIH-funded postdoctoral positionis available immediately for a highly motivated candidate to study protein structure-function, gene regulation, tick-mammal transmission, and host-pathogen interactions in Borrelia burgdorferi, the Lyme disease spirochete. The position offers an excellent training opportunity to conduct research in an attractive, dynamic research environment with outstanding resources.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or MD. Ph.D. in a related field from an accredited institution. Must meet university criteria for appointment at the rank of Postdoctoral Fellow.
Preferred Qualifications:
A background in bacterial genetics and molecular biology will be given preference. Experience with analyzing protein structure and function, animal models, and/or tick biology is a plus.
