Role: Postgres DBA Location: Austin, TX Duration: 12 Months Job Description: •Provide DB access following enterprise access guidelines . Experience with AWS. . Experience with AWS-EC2 . Experience with Python •Implement redundancy and fail-over strategies. •Monitor and tune database performance •Provide support for new project development and software upgrade •Experience with installation . Migration Experience. •Diagnose and resolve issues as part of development and deployment process Qualifications •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience) •Experience with database performance, scaling, and tuning concepts •Strong collaboration skills and experience working across multiple teams both within a division and enterprise-wide •Strong interpersonal, problem solving, facilitation, and prioritization skills •Strong technical acumen, able to ensure that technical solutions, strategies, practices, and governance deliver business and customer value •Energy, integrity, and strong work ethic •Proven track record of implementing small changes that have measurable impact
