PostgreSQL Database Engineer

Day 1 Onsite Austin, TX (Candidate must be willing to relocate)

Hybrid - 3 days onsite / week

Long term contract

Must Required -

• Minimum 8-10 years of hands on working experience required as PostgreSQL Database Engineer

Skill Sets - Niche Skill - Experience - Preference

python - No - At least 1 year - Is Required

AWS - No - At least 5 year - Is Required

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - No - At least 5 year - Is Required

PostgreSQL - Yes - At least 8 year - Is Required

Kubernetes - No - At least 1 year - Is Required

Linux - No - At least 3 year - Is Required

• Amazon relational Database.
• Database Tunning
• Questions on any scripting that candidate was comfortable with.
• Database migration
• Questions on Database models.
• PostgreSQL authentication modes
• Python scripting
• Postgres major upgrade
• Replication setup
• AWS rds questions

• Vacuuming
• Changes in different versions

Pay Range: $65/hr - $70/hr

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
