Your Role:As a Poultry House Operator, you will ensure the health and safety of our birds while supporting the operations of a cutting-edge biotechnology company. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Maintaining Biosecurity: Follow strict biosecurity regulations to protect both poultry and product quality.
  • Egg Collection & Sanitization: Collect, clean, and sanitize SPF eggs, ensuring their quality and suitability for sale.
  • Health Monitoring: Regularly monitor the flock s health and well-being, reporting any issues to farm management.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic equipment upkeep to ensure smooth operations.
  • Training & Support: Assist in training new team members to uphold high standards in poultry care and farm management.
  • Humane Animal Care: Ensure the humane treatment of birds throughout their lifecycle.
  • Sales & Operations Support: Assist with bird sales and other farm-related tasks as needed.
What We re Looking For:
  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required. We value hands-on experience and will consider candidates with a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds, with regular movement around the poultry house. Comfortable working in warm, humid environments with exposure to noise, chemicals, dust, and live animals.
  • Commitment to Biosecurity: Employees must not have contact with live poultry or birds of any kind outside of work hours.

  • Moderate noise levels within the facility.
