Contract Type: Full-Time
Contract Period: 12/30/2024 – 08/31/2025 (with potential for extension)
Role Overview
Brooksource is seeking a skilled Process Automation Developer with expertise in Microsoft Power Platform for a hybrid position. The candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of automation solutions, enabling optimized workflows and process automation using tools like Power Automate, AI Builder, and Power Apps.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of how real-time systems integrate with analytical applications and a proven ability to work independently in a team-oriented, Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance process automation workflows using Microsoft Power Platform.
- Work with business teams to analyze requirements, design optimal solutions, and implement process automations.
- Leverage technologies like Power Automate, AI Builder, and Power Apps for automation programs.
- Utilize Microsoft Dataverse for storage, data modeling, and management, while integrating data from Oracle and SQL Server databases using pre-built and custom connectors.
- Contribute to the design and maturity of automation platforms and recommend best practices for scalability and performance.
- Perform unit testing, produce documentation, and provide after-hours support if needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align automation solutions with organizational processes and applications.
Work Details
- Location: Austin, TX 78744 (Hybrid: on-site 2+ days/week).
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST. Occasional after-hours work may be required.
- Background Check: Candidates must pass a fingerprint background check
Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years in application development, system analysis, and testing in IT environments.
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse).
- 3+ years in Power Automate RPA/DPA integrations, AI Builder for digital document and invoice processing, and Power App custom development.
- Experience with Power Pages, Power Fx, RESTful APIs, and technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, HTML, and JSON.
- 2+ years working with Azure DevOps and other Azure Services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Power BI integration.
- Power Platform Developer Certification.
- Agile project team experience.
