The Power Electronics Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and development of controls systems. In this role you will develop electromechanical, electrohydraulic, and electropneumatic control systems and power sources. The Power Electronics Engineer reports directly into the Electrical Engineering Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
- Consult with the sales team and customers to support the development of new products.
- Successfully prepare proposal designs and concepts.
- Develop cost and schedule estimates for new design concepts.
- Perform studies and analysis to validate conceptual problem solutions.
- Run experimental development testing to support the creation of reliable designs.
- Document designs, analyses, and test results and generate reporting.
- Work to create a collaborative team environment.
- All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with circuit design, analysis, and testing
- Experience with PCB's
- 5+ years of electromechanical design experience
