This developmental role is ideal for a military-experienced high-voltage electrician interested in converting their skills into a design role. This position requires strong knowledge of high voltage electrical systems, power distribution and strong electrical theory. The ability to read schematic drawings and wiring diagrams as well as a baseline understanding of computer systems that can be leveraged to learn and perform design work. This position is ideal for a detailed-oriented engineer interested in working behind a screen on design engineering projects for power sub stations, transformers and other power-distribution electrical systems. It requires a technical aptitude to learn design systems as well as the ability to reference design codes and related design considerations. Candidates possessing the core electrical skills and aptitude will be trained on the design function and requirements of the position.
