Job DescriptionSUMMARY:As part of the Events, Conferences, & Support Services team, thisposition is responsible for physically setting up furniture, staging, installations, and relatedelements for campus events, projects, and office moves; and makes deliveries and performsassembly or breakdown of equipment and furnishings, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:- Performs work independently with minimal supervision

- Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities
- Excellent organizational skills
- General knowledge of the use of small electric and hand tools, basic furniture repair, forklifts, and the operation of various sizes of trucks
- General computer skills with Word, Excel and Outlook with the ability to learn new computer software programs
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: - H.S. Diploma or GED required
- 2-4 years' experience in customer services, carpentry, and/or operating a forklift required
- Valid Virginia Driver's License with a driving record in good standing, upon hire
WORK HOURS:Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, however flexibility is required as this position may require weekend work (graduation, football games, reunion weekend, etc.)
SALARY STRUCTURE:Pay Grade 3 (Hiring Range $18.57 to $19.75 per hour)
