As the Practice Head Data Solutions, you will take ownership of the companys data practice, guiding its growth and innovation. You will drive the development of cutting-edge data strategies, oversee a team of talented data professionals, and deliver advanced solutions in analytics, AI/ML, and cloud technologies. Your ability to articulate value propositions and create transformative, data-driven solutions will be key to helping clients optimize their decision-making processes and navigate digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Data Solutions Practice: Take full ownership of the Data Solutions practice, driving its strategic direction and growth.
- Develop Market-Driven Strategies: Formulate and execute strategies based on thorough market analysis, positioning the practice as a leader in data consulting.
- Build and Scale the Data Practice: Oversee the development and management of services, including data storage, data engineering, data governance, data analytics, and AI/ML solutions.
- Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their business challenges and craft tailored, data-driven solutions that deliver measurable ROI.
- Drive Innovation: Apply advanced analytics, AI/ML, and cloud-based solutions to transform organizational data for intelligent decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with business development, sales, and delivery teams to identify synergies and opportunities for the practices expansion.
- Partner Management: Build strong partnerships with strategic technology vendors and partners to enhance service offerings.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of data architects, engineers, and analysts, ensuring the successful design and implementation of cutting-edge data solutions.
- Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Continuously monitor emerging technologies and trends to keep the practice at the forefront of the data solutions industry.
Required Skills:
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing and growing high-performance data teams.
- Deep expertise in data engineering, management tools and platforms
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear and compelling business value.
- Strategic thinker capable of balancing long-term vision with short-term execution.
- Ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of advanced analytics, AI/ML, and cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in data strategy, data management, or analytics, ideally within a consulting or professional services environment.
- Industry Expertise: Prior experience in Finance, Life Sciences, or Business Services is a strong advantage.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance frameworks.
- C-Level Engagement: Proven ability to influence and advise senior leadership and C-suite executives on data strategies.
- Education: BS or MS in Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Salary Range: US $150,000 - $200,000 per annum plus performance-based incentives and bonus.
