Job Summary: In partnership with the Practice Manager or Administrator, helps to oversee the daily operations of 1 medical practice with 1-3 providers, including personnel, financial, clerical, housekeeping, and maintenance and purchasing functions. Job Requirements:Education and Work Experience:
  • High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
  • Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
  • Five years' technical experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Preferred
Essential Functions:
  • Helps to oversee and give guidance to the operations of the assigned clinic/s. Ensures clinics are operated in accordance with regulatory requirements and AHPS policies and procedures. Communicates operational opportunities and best practices to the Practice Manager or Administrator.
  • Works with the Practice Manager or Administrator to ensure that the appropriate revenue management policies, procedures and systems are in place to allow for billing and collection effectiveness.
  • Utilizes the appropriate performance reporting structures, to include performance scorecards, operations and financial reporting (such as performance ratio analysis, and other region and/or clinic specific metrics).
  • Exercises independent judgment in training, coaching, overseeing assigned staff.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
