Velocity Urgent Care (now solely owned by Sentara Health) is actively looking for a qualified Practice Manager I to be responsible for a brand new clinic location in Elizabeth City, NC. The Practice Manager I partners with clinical leadership in dyad model to ensure the efficient and effective operations of one clinics/practice with up to 10 staff members. Provides overall supervision of staff and oversight of all aspects of operations including customer service, budget, risk management, and compliance with organizational and ambulatory care policies, regulations, and standards of care. Accountable for personally monitoring and engaging team members and other resources to improve financial performance, quality, patient experience, and team member performance.

Required Qualifications:

* 1 year of Supervisory Experience required.

* 1 years of Healthcare Experience required.

* Clinical Certification required, MA, LPN, RN, EMTB, Paramedic

* High School Diploma or GED.

Schedule: The typical schedule will be based on business need of the clinic.

Job Summary

The Practice Manager I partners with clinical leadership in dyad model to ensure the efficient and effective operations of one clinics/practice with up to 10 staff members. Provides overall supervision of staff and oversight of all aspects of operations including customer service, budget, risk management, and compliance with organizational and ambulatory care policies, regulations, and standards of care. Accountable for personally monitoring and engaging team members and other resources to improve financial performance, quality, patient experience, and team member performance.

Clinical experience and leadership experience in ambulatory care environment preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Successful completion of CMOM course required within 18 months of hire. CMOM certification preferred.
