PRACTICE MANAGER

Lincoln Community Health Center, Inc., a federally qualified community Health Center (FQHC) located in Durham, NC is recruiting for a Practice Manager Durham is known as the Bull City, the City of Medicine, the Tastiest Town in the South, and the Startup Capital of the South. It's a two-hour drive from the beach, a three-hour drive from the Blue Ridge Mountains, and is North Carolina's fourth largest city by population. Along the East Coast, Durham is located conveniently along I-85. For those outside of driving distance, travel to and from is made easy as the City and County of Durham co-own the top-ranked Raleigh-Durham International Airport that services more than 45 nonstop destinations.

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY: Responsible for daily operations of a primary care clinic to include administrative tasks and managing staff.

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/ QUALIFICATIONS: Extensive experience working in a leadership role in a primary medical care setting is required. Practice Manager or other Clinic Leadership experience desired. The position requires a strong healthcare administration foundational knowledge and familiarity with all aspects of healthcare service delivery. Excellent communication skills to include the ability to communicate effectively with healthcare team members, medical providers, leaders, patients, and visitors required. Excellent computer skills including electronic health record and practice management systems required.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's of Science in healthcare management, healthcare administration, public health or health information management required. A master's degree in healthcare management, healthcare administration, public health or health information management preferred.
