We are seeking an innovative, hard-working, honest and personable Pre-Owned Manager who can excel in a high-volume operation by optimizing profitability and customer satisfaction. The candidate must be able to manage all facets of the department and must be able to conform to the changes of the industry. Successful candidates must have a strong work ethic, passion to be part of a team and the drive to not only meet but exceed service targets. Working closely with our management team will give you the opportunity to develop and continue to develop your career. Should have 2+ years of pre-owned management experience. Experience operating a high volume, fast paced department is preferred.

Pre-Owned ManagerFull-Time Opportunity: 5 Day Work Week Weekend availability Summary Engages with consumers interested in selling their current vehicles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIESThe primary responsibilities include the following, with the potential for additional tasks as needed:

  • Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Training, motivating, counseling and monitoring the performance of all used car sales personnel.
  • Pricing vehicles.
  • Appraises vehicles.
  • Has the ability to desk deals.
  • Forecasts aggressive yet realistic monthly goals and objectives for the department and for individual salespeople and provides them with the support to meet these goals.
  • Develops improvement programs for salespeople who are having difficulty reaching their objectives.
  • Ensures that dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed by salespeople. Helps the sales manager maintain a balanced inventory based on customer and market statistics.
  • Assists salespeople in closing deals when necessary.
  • Shares responsibility with the sales manager for planning and leading sales meetings.
  • Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect vehicle sales.
  • Strives for harmony and teamwork with all other departments.
  • Maintains professional appearance and reinforces uniform policy within department.
  • Attends managers meetings as requested.

Qualifications:Valid Driver's License 2+ year of dealership setting experience. To excel in this role, candidates must perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Job Type: Full-time

Salary:$175,000.00 - $225,000.00+ per year inclusive of commission and bonuses
