JobDescription:
Under the direction of the Manager of Perioperative Servicesand in compliance with the stated goals of MidState Medical Center, thePerioperative Coordinator of the Pre-op Chart Center will coordinate and directthe activities of staff in accomplishing the goal of patient preparedness forthe surgical experience. Utilizes the nursing process to facilitatepatient assessment and implementation of patient care plan in the perioperativearena. This position hasbeen centralized to cover the Preadmission Center for MidState MedicalCenter. Primary location will be on the Hospital of CentralConnecticut campus with the possibility to occasionally rotate to the MidStatecampus to cover Preadmission Testing.
