If you are a current University of Northern Iowa employee and would like to apply for this position, login to UNI Works and type Find Jobs in the search bar to view and apply for open positions.Full Consideration Date:09/10/2024Job Description:Primary Function: Assists faculty and staff in successfully developing competitive grant proposals and navigating the proposal submission process; identifies sources of external funding from federal, state, and private agencies; designs and facilitates group external funding workshops for varied audiences including academic departments; and helps develop and implement Preaward support services and training efforts on campus, especially those that involve capacity-building for faculty research, scholarship and creative activity, such as periodic research conferences, workshops, brown bags, and seed funding competitions.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree plus demonstrated ability in technical writing, organizational and communication skills required.
