The Opportunity
Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Precision Assembler to join our team. The Precision Assembler will work within a team environment and be responsible for the operation of miscellaneous processes supporting the production team.
Duties include but are not limited to:
* Operation of manufacturing process equipment (heat treat ovens, precision cleaning, broaching, polishing, and gear checking machines)
* Follows detailed plannings to complete complex assemblies.
* Applies brazing material to tubing and fittings according to job specifications.
* Uses a variety of hand tools, shears, grinders, drills, saws, tube bending and flaring equipment, pipe threading, and other items to be used in assembly
* Pressure test, deburr, and polish manufactured parts
* Manufacture and/ or tests parts according to engineering and customer standards and specifications
* Maintain accurate and reliable documentation
* Perform inspection and/or testing related activities to ensure that parts are machined in accordance with manufacturing standards and blueprint specifications
Qualifications
* High School or GED required
* 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing
* Brazing, soldering, and or welding techniques is a plus
* Training is available
* Effective interaction with team members, customers and all levels of management
* Ability to read, understand, and correctly interpret basic blueprint drawings
* Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches).
* U.S. Citizenship status required. Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Openings on both 2nd and 3rd shifts
* 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11 PM
* 3rd Shift: 9:30 PM - 6 AM
