We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Preconstruction Manager to lead the preconstruction phase of industrial construction projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in managing preconstruction processes, cost estimation, project scheduling, and collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the preconstruction process from initial client meetings to project handoff to the construction team.
- Develop and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and schedules in collaboration with project stakeholders.
- Review and analyze architectural, structural, and MEP plans to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project scopes and define project objectives.
- Prepare and manage detailed bid packages, solicit subcontractor bids, and assist with contractor selection.
- Evaluate and mitigate project risks during the preconstruction phase.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation for each project.
- Provide strategic advice to the project team to ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations to clients.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in preconstruction management, with a focus on industrial construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, cost estimating, project scheduling, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to think critically and problem-solve in high-pressure situations.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Central New Jersey.
