Preconstruction ManagerPosition OverviewThe Preconstruction Manager will oversee the planning and execution of preconstruction activities for multi-family projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are well-coordinated and aligned with the overall objectives. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to develop accurate estimates, manage budgets, and streamline project timelines.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preconstruction process for multi-family, garden-style projects, ensuring quality and accuracy in all phases.
- Develop comprehensive project estimates and budgets based on client specifications and project requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project designs meet construction standards and feasibility.
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and contracts to identify potential issues and provide solutions.
- Coordinate with the project management team to transition from preconstruction to construction seamlessly.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate project risks during the preconstruction phase.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in preconstruction management within the multi-family construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of estimating software and tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and engage stakeholders effectively.
- Proven ability to analyze complex plans and specifications and provide accurate estimates.
