Duties & Responsibilities:Client is seeking a manager to oversee the prefabrication of electrical assemblies in our 60,000 square foot facility. The candidate does not need to be an electrician, but should possess knowledge of the electrical trade. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to coordinate with multiple departments.The following are job requirements:
- Develop project schedules and provide Client forecasting
- Develop scope of work, management plans, and work sequence
- Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish work in a timely and professional manner
- Set clear goals and expectations to team leads
- Monitor hours on a weekly basis to ensure we are on target to hit our goals
- Ensure that projects are completed on time and in accordance with the project plans, specifications and expectations
- Collaborate with Project managers and foreman on the job site
- Review attendance and tardiness and make certain everyone is working at the start of each day
The following are preferred abilities:
- Review electrical drawings for code compliance
- Understand plans and specifications to identify the types of materials and equipment needed to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Review electrical drawings and determine where boxes/receptacles will be placed and where circuits will be run
- Visit jobsites and interact with foreman and project manager
