Location: Sioux Falls, SDShift: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMJob Status: 90-day internshipCompany: PREMIER BankcardAbout the InternshipThe Analytics Department provides insights for all operational areas for PREMIER Bankcard. Interns assist with completion of multiple analytical studies and proposals to senior management, creation of reports, and creating predictive models. We are seeking problem solvers who have a passion for data and a focus on execution and delivery. Both technical skills and business acumen are necessary for success in this role. Data analyst interns will generate reports and analysis by research and review of PREMIER's data. Interns will gain valuable understanding into analytic methodologies as well as business knowledge of the credit card industry. The internship will also help further strengthen your analytic and presentation skills, and career opportunities. The data tools utilized by the analytics team include, but are not limited to:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • ANSI SQL
  • Snowflake
  • DBeaver
  • Base SAS or SAS Enterprise Guide
  • SAS Viya
  • Power BI
  • SAS -Eminer

  • Complete requests from Operational departments
  • Complete analysis Items directed by their supervisor
  • Run daily tasks or update daily MIS's
  • Conduct tasks in a manner that complies with all consumer protection regulations and treats consumers fairly
Skills and Qualifications
  • Applicant should be enrolled in or pursuing higher education
  • Query writing experience
  • Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Ability to be patient and attentive to detail
  • Excellent verbal and listening skills and ability to use positive language
  • Time management skills
