- Examine payroll, tax, and financial records to accurately establish the premium base for various insurance types, such as Workers' Compensation, General Liability, and Professional Liability (Errors and Omissions).
- Collect detailed information regarding business operations, employee roles, and other pertinent details through phone calls and email correspondence.
- Confirm that insurance classification codes are correctly assigned to client policies in accordance with state regulations.
- Propose changes to classification codes when necessary to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain adherence to state rules and standards for premium assessments.
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver precise audit reports and resolve any inconsistencies.
Requirements:
- Associate's Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- GPA - Minimum 2.75
- Previous experience in auditing, accounting, or insurance-related roles preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance policies, underwriting principles, and premium calculation methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using auditing software and MS Office applications.
