Our client, a leading insurance company, is seeking a Premium Auditor to join their team. As a Premium Auditor, you will be part of the audit operations team supporting underwriting, billing, and third-party operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and excellent communication skills to align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Premium AuditorLocation: Charleston, West VirginiaPay Range: $22 per hour (Flexible)What's the Job?
- Perform auditing duties primarily as mail audits of businesses and corporations to determine the proper reporting and payment of insurance policy premiums.
- Complete phone audits as assigned.
- Manage audit exception reports to ensure audits are assigned and completed timely and identify system issues preventing audit uploads.
- Create and distribute audit templates to be used by company auditors when completing audits written through a fronting company arrangement.
- Coordinate audit disputes, entailing collecting rationale for disagreement with the audit and working with the Premium Audit Manager and assigned auditor to resolve the matter timely. Document insured's concerns and all subsequent action taken by the department.
What's Needed?
- Minimum GED required. Relevant business experience strongly preferred.
- At least 2 years of corporate office experience since this role is more administrative and the insurance/ audit pieces are clear processes that are easily trained.
- Ability to analyze and interpret accounting records.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently.
