Society Insurance is looking for a motivated summer intern to join our Premium Receivables team in Fond du Lac. This role supports key finance functions, including processing payments, managing invoices, and assisting with data-driven projects to optimize workflows.
About the Role
* Assists in the billing process, which may include but is not limited to: processing payments, analyzing financial data and resolving discrepancies, and processing cancellations for non-payment.
* Assists in managing the premium receivables workflow by completing various manual reports.
* Provides invoices via email to customers.
* Sets up ACH withdrawals.
* Supports projects by gathering data, optimizing processes, updating tracking spreadsheets, and performing additional tasks as needed based on project requirements.
* Contributes to overall premium receivables function by completing a variety of assigned projects with accuracy and timeliness.
* Contributes to team effort by providing back-up and assistance to the Finance department when needed.

What it Will Take
* Pursuing Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree.
* 3.0 or better cumulative GPA on a 4-point scale.
* Full-time collegiate status.
* Basic computer software knowledge (word processing, e-mail, accessing and updating databases).
* Experience with operating typical office machines (such as a copy machine, fax machine, computer).
