Kikka sushi is looking for an energetic, dependable Prep Cook who will provide great customer service in the Whole Foods Market located in Maui Mall: 70 Kaahumana Ave #B, Kahului, HI 96732. Full time with benefits, 5 days a week (must work all Sundays and Holidays). 6am – 3:00pm, 8 hour shifts (included an hour unpaid meal break). The Prep Cook / line cook / Team Member will make sushi in advance and per customer's request. No experience making sushi, no problem we will teach you! The team member will also do prep work, prepare other Asian foods and maintain a clean and neat environment while helping customers in a fun, fast paced, exciting environment. To thrive in this job you must show up to work on time and as scheduled, have a flexible morning and evening availability, be willing to work hard (this isn't an easy job), be patient (it takes about 3 months to get comfortable with the job), must be willing to stick it out (not quit after a few days or weeks) and be able to work with multi-cultural and multi-lingual co-workers, some who barely speak English. Pay is $15.50 per hour, no tips. Qualifications: Be 18 years of age or older Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Work all Sundays and holidays.
