We are seeking Prep/Line Cooks who have the attributes that will make our company one of the best in the hospitality industry. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintains a clean and safe work area adhering to food safety and health standards.
- Ensures food ingredients are stored in their designated area and rotated in the proper manner.
- Prepares all items in accordance with approved recipe cards.
- Handles and cleans kitchen equipment carefully and safely to prevent damage or injury.
- Works efficiently and effectively to gather, wash, cut, season, cook, and store quality ingredients.
- Prioritizes and organizes tasks for speed and quality assurance.
- Ensures requisitions are filled out for following day's par-stock requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Read, write and communicate effectively in English.
- Be physically able to work a 6-12 hour day while on your feet.
- Climbing, reaching, walking, sitting, grasping, repetitive motions, visual acuity, hearing, and a great deal of smilin
- Able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs multiple times throughout a shift.
- Represent the Brand by maintaining a professional appearanc
- Pass required background check.
- Previous restaurant experience including cash handling is preferred.
- Availability in the early mornings, weekends and holidays.
- Must have high school diploma or GED.
