As a Prep Cook at Locals Tacos and Tequila, you will play a vital role in our kitchen's daily operations by ensuring that all ingredients are properly prepared and ready for service. Your attention to detail and culinary skills will contribute to the high-quality dishes that our guests love.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately measure, cut, and prepare various ingredients such as vegetables, meats, and spices according to established recipes and portion control guidelines.
• Ensure all ingredients are properly labeled, stored, and ready for use during service hours.
• Safely and efficiently operate kitchen equipment, such as knives, slicers, and food processors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station, including equipment cleaning and sanitization.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of food preparation.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines accurately.
• Capable of working efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Willingness to collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient and organized service.
