The purpose of the Prepared Foods Team Member I is to assist leaders in the Prepared Foods Department in creating a great customer experience through food production, stocking, customer services and store maintenance. To ensure a clean, growing, and well-maintained department with exceptional quality. Assist in production, pack out and providing an irresistible store experience for customers.Essential Responsibilities and Functions
- Follow food recipes as written
- Ensure prepared foods meet recipe standards of quality, consistency, look and taste
- Pack-out, label and stock product to standard
- Ensure all food stations are clean, stocked, full fresh and delicious at all times
- Participate in periodic department inventories
- Package, weigh, and price product
Physical Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for long lengths of time, walk, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach and climb stairs or ladders throughout the work day
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
RequirementsQualifications
- Familiarity with natural foods, vegan and vegetarian cuisine as well as organic vs commercial growing practices
- Available to work weekends, holidays, mornings and nights
- Regular, predicable attendance
- Projects an outgoing, friendly personality
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions

- Ability to read and follow a recipe
