Full-time, entry-level position primarily focused on ensuring that proofs are output correctly, qualified, assembled, and shipped on behalf of Project Managers. Ideal candidate will be highly organized and flexible, as priorities can change rapidly. Will also be responsible for cutting and assembly of color keys. Will be required to assist in packing and shipping.

Essential Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Results

  • Maintain Epson Proofer Supplies
  • Epson Proofer Maintenance
  • Change inks
  • Change maintenance tanks
  • Load paper
  • Output proofs
  • Remap colors
  • Crop files
  • Assign color libraries if needed
  • Run calibration for the three Epson printers
  • Drop proofs via Esko Pilot
  • Prepare Proofs to be Shipped (FedEx, UPS, JS)
  • Quick check for any obvious errors
  • Trim
  • Assemble overlays (if any)
  • Match with shipping ticket
  • Organize Returned Proofs
  • Notify Project Manager(s) of returned proofs
  • Communicate corrections (digital photo) or approval to Project Manager(s)
  • Metal Deco Color Key Cutting and Assembly
  • Cut on Zund table
  • Assemble and slip-sheet
  • File for distribution
  • Assist in Shipping Department

Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have ability to use basic computer skills.
