We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Prepress Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment where you will play a key role in the production process. You will be responsible for processing artwork designs for proofing and production, operating offset printing press professionally, maintaining the upkeep of plate developer, and making adjustments to the inking system. You will also be expected to answer all internal inquiries regarding designs and printing, identify potential issues promptly, and suggest effective solutions.
Responsibilities:
Process artwork designs for proofing and production, ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy.Operate offset printing press professionally, handling tasks such as removing old and installing new plates.Maintain the upkeep of plate developer and make necessary adjustments to the inking system, which includes cleaning the machine and replacing the developer.Answer all internal inquiries concerning designs and printing, providing clear and concise information.Immediately identify potential issues, whether technical or timing-related, and suggest effective solutions to prevent delays or quality compromises.Observe all safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and productive work environment.Collaborate with the team to achieve common goals, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a goal-oriented mindset.Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.Proficient in processing artwork designs for proofing and production.Experience in professionally operating an offset printing press.Ability to remove old and install new plates.Experience in maintaining the upkeep of plate developer and making adjustments to the inking system.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify potential issues promptly.Excellent communication skills to answer internal inquiries effectively.A team player with a goal-oriented mindset, able to work collaboratively to achieve common goals.Knowledge and understanding of safety rules and regulations in the workplace.If you are an experienced Prepress Technician with a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for quality, we would love to hear from you.
