Job Description:
The Vistex Presales Associate role is designed to prepare new-grads and young professionals for a career as a Solution Engineer. Candidates hired will initially work as a Presales Associate, reporting directly to the Director, Solution Engineering, and will be located in the Vistex Hoffman Estates,IL office. During the first 6 months, candidates will take part in formal training, learning baseline SAP knowledge, as well as technical and functional capabilities of the Vistex Go-To-Market Suites. In addition to training, during this time, candidates will have the opportunity to assist in the build and delivery of customized demo scenarios for potential and existing customers of the Vistex Go-To-Market Suites.Following 6 months of training, candidates will be assigned to a peer mentor and will continue to assist with day-to-day activities, job shadowing, continued training, and special projects. After one year of employment and completion of requirements, candidates will be promoted to Presales Specialist, with the expectation of being promoted to a Solution Engineer within 1-2 years.In addition, candidates can expect to have frequent interaction with Sales, Marketing, Client Services, and Product Management as well as external prospect/client-facing interactions. Candidates must be able to travel across the U.S. and internationally.Responsibilities:Participate in SAP baseline training and Vistex Go-To-Market Suites technical and functional trainingDevelop and maintain technical, product functionality, and operational knowledge of Vistex software productsCollaborate closely with Solution Engineers, Sales team members, prospects, and client contacts ranging from systems administrators, and end-users to C-level leadership to assist with gathering all necessary business and technical requirements to build successful, customized product demonstrationsAssist with product demos and technical presentations for potential clients, partners, and sales team via audio/video web-based conferencing, phone, and on prospect/client siteIn partnership with Solution Engineers, reply to RFQs, RFIs, and RFPs with the appropriate level of business and technical depth depending on the prospect/client organization, contact, and audienceAssist with presentations for company events and trade showsOther duties as required or directedQualificationsEducation: Bachelors or better.Required Skills:Self-motivated, team-minded entrepreneurial attitudeStrong command presence for both internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrate exemplary verbal and written communication, and presentation skills; ability to tailor communications for technical and non-technical audiencesStrong business acumenPreferred Skills:Flexible; ability to adapt to changing prioritiesHighly reliable and dedicated work ethic with consistent attendance and punctuality are criticalHighly organized, with strong planning skills; deliver on-time and to high-quality standardsProven ability to be both a team player and work independentlyHighly accountable, understanding that Presales directly impacts the Vistex brand, market reputation, prospect/client impressions, and sales performanceA cool head, able to maintain poise and composure under pressure in relatively ambiguous and complex situationsExtremely comfortable in a fast-paced environment that requires excellent time-management and the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively#J-18808-Ljbffr
