This is a school year position with some limited work before the school year. The Lead Teacher is responsible for the day to day operation of the preschool classroom while following GSRP and State Licensing rules. The Lead Teacher is assisted by and Associate Teacher who works with them in the classroom. Degree Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, or a Michigan Teaching Certificate with either a PK-3, ZA, or ZS certification. A person with an associates degree in Early Childhood Education will be considered if they are willing to earn a bachelor's degree withing a required time period.
