Job Description:

The Foley Entertainment Group (FEG) operates and connects a growing portfolio of high-quality and specially curated entertainment assets. The four pillars of FEG are Sports, Hospitality, Venues, and Foundations. The Hospitality group is known for our commitment to exceptional guest experiences, site-informed luxury offerings, and strong ties to the communities we operate in. We operate a diverse portfolio of hotels, restaurants, and event facilities up and down the west coast of the United States and in New Zealand.

FEG is searching for a dynamic leader who can provide strategic vision while driving financial performance to our portfolio of hotel and restaurant sites. The President will be responsible for overseeing the organization's operational and fiscal functions, enhancing brand equity, and promoting collaboration and cross-selling between FEG assets and sites. Requiring a proven track record in the hospitality and restaurant industries, the ideal candidate for this role is a compelling leader with exceptional management skills, strong financial acumen, and a passion for delivering outstanding service.

Primary Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the company's long-term vision, strategies, and goals.
  • Provide overall leadership and direction to the operational executive team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.

Operational Oversight:

  • Ensure operational excellence across all entities by implementing best practices and monitoring performance metrics.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and market conditions.

Brand Development:

  • Lead the development and enhancement of lifestyle brands, ensuring that they resonate with target audiences and reflect current trends.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create and execute innovative marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility and customer loyalty.

Market Analysis and Revenue Management:

  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential threats within the hospitality industry.
  • Leverage market insights to adapt business strategies and ensure alignment with evolving consumer preferences and market dynamics.
  • Optimize revenue management through effective utilization of brand tools and technologies.
  • Ongoing management of website performance, including SEO and PPC services.
  • Regular auditing of the website to identify areas for improvement.

Guest Experience:

  • Champion a guest-first culture by implementing initiatives that enhance customer experience across all properties.
  • Monitor guest feedback and satisfaction metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure service excellence.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards, mitigating risks associated with operations and financial management.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.

Sustainability Initiatives:

  • Lead sustainability initiatives and practices within the organization, promoting environmentally responsible operations that align with current consumer preferences.

Performance Metrics and Reporting:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for all departments and regularly report on performance to the Board of Directors and stakeholders.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed business decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on managing multi-brand portfolios.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence, brand development, and financial performance.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and forecasting.
  • Deep understanding of market trends and consumer preferences within the hospitality and lifestyle sectors.
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Superior leader with strong strategic thinking skills and ability to inspire teams to achieve operational outcomes required.
