Overview ORGANIZATION SUMMARY Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to Chief Program Officer of Community Services, the Senior Vice President serves as an integral member of senior management within the organization. The Senior Vice President is responsible for the development of management strategies to meet priority goals and is a primary contributor to the development of the organizations Behavioral Health Programs that operate within the community. Responsibilities DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Plans, organizes, directs and coordinates the programmatic direction of their respective Behavioral Health Programs: Article 31 Clinic, IOS Clinic, OASAS Clinic, PROS Programs, CORE Program, HCBS Children's Programs and OMH Housing Programs. Sets goals and leads efforts to ensure progress and evaluates results to ensure that departmental and organizational objectives and clinical operating requirements are met and are in line with the needs and mission of the organization as well as the Office of Mental Health. Provides oversight and coverage, including 24/7 on-call coverage as needed, to all Behavioral Health Programs. Provides necessary support to assigned locations/programs including but not limited to employee's shortages, natural disasters, individual related emergencies, weather, etc. Provides supervision, guidance and direction to all assigned team members on an ongoing basis. Ensures all team members are fulfilling their roles and responsibilities and addresses performance issues through improvement plans or corrective action measures. Interviews, hires, develops and retains high quality clinical staff. Designs a highly effective and relevant training program that continues to promote learning and to develop the various teams' clinical skills. Collaborates with Chief Program Officer to ensure all clinicians are engaged in a clearly identified learning plan that best positions them to succeed in their roles. This includes on-site training guide requirements, ongoing adherence to agency and Relias LMS opportunities as well as a minimum training expectation of key management personnel. Strengthens and leads the development of the Behavioral Health Programs and harnesses strategic partnerships especially around children's services and contract management. Manages annual operating budgets and contracts identifying strategies to generate and maximize revenue by designing a plan to market Behavioral Health services. Maximizes the use of internal resources by interfacing with other colleagues and departments to ensure the effective and efficient clinical oversight of the Behavioral Health Programs. Ensures adequate supervision and services are provided based on the needs of the individuals served for the respective programs. Ensures that emergency situations are addressed in accordance with established policies and procedures ensuring timely communication of such situations. Participates in state, regional, and local planning as it pertains to program development as requested. Provides reports as required to local and state governing bodies. Adheres to OSHA regulations. Provides oversight and review of service documentation, staffing patterns, clinical support, and administrative support. Ensures that all required documentation (paper and electronic) are completed/processed appropriately, in a timely manner meeting quality and compliance thresholds. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Education: Master's Degree in human services required Experience: At least 10 (ten) years of management experience in the health and human services field At least 5 (five) years of professional experience working directly with persons with mental health, substance use disorder or other intellectual disabilities Specialized Training, Licenses, Certifications: LCSW required CASAC credentialing preferred Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities: Demonstrated competency in all state, local, federal regulations and agency policies relevant to the operation of the division Fluent in OASAS, and OMH regulations and other state government entities required to sufficiently operate the division Strong communication, project management, financial management, contract management, problem solving and event planning skills Ability to formulate and sustain positive working relationships with colleagues Computer literacy required, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite Must be able to motivate, lead and coach others Must be efficient, well organized, and have excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Other Requirements: WORK ENVIRONMENT This role is performed in-person, in a typical office setting; travel between FREE Network and other relevant locations required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Employee is required to sit, walk and stand for prolonged period of time (at least 8 hours). Employee is required to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Employee is required to operate standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax and filing cabinets. Employee might be required to lift/move light items. This range is based on what FREE reasonably believes it will pay an employee as for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including, but not limited to, an individual's experience, qualifications, longevity at FREE, geographic location, relevant skills, and other factors permitted under federal, state, and local laws.
