We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Press Assistant to join our team. The Press Assistant will support the printing operations by assisting the press operators in the setup, operation, and maintenance of label printing presses. salary: $21 - $24 per hour

shift: Second

work hours: 4 PM - 12 AM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

+ Assist press operators with the setup and operation of printing presses, including loading substrates and adjusting settings.

+ Monitor the printing process to ensure quality standards are met, making adjustments as necessary.

+ Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.

+ Conduct quality checks on printed labels, including color accuracy, registration, and consistency.

+ Prepare and organize materials for upcoming jobs, including inks, substrates, and printing plates.

+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.

+ Document production metrics and assist in inventory management of materials and supplies.

+ Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve any printing issues.
